Portable suction unit with an electro drive ACCUVAC Rescue (WM 10600)

ACCUVAC Rescue is a mobile and portable electrically powered aspirator (suction pump), that convenient for use in transport conditions. . It is used for:

  • aspirating accumulations of blood, secretions and food from the oral cavity, the nose and throat region and the bronchial system;
  • deflating vacuum mattresses and inflatable splints. ACCUVAC Rescue:
  • can when used by a skilled operator eliminate obstruction of the respiratory tract and hence the risk of respiratory failure;
  • cuts energy consumption by reducing power output on reaching the necessary vacuum;
  • can optionally be powered – by a rechargeable internal power pack; – or by an external DC source supplying 12.0 - 13.8 V;
  • is also suitable for use in wards. The ACCUVAC Rescue must not be used:
  • in medical rooms where potential equalization is necessary (e.g. heart surgery);
  • in explosion-risk areas.

The ACCUVAC Rescue needs no maintenance.

When every second counts, you can rely on ACCUVAC Rescue for support. The innovative operating concept with pre-set keys for suction levels lets you adjust the device quickly to any situation. Thanks to the wide range of accessories, ACCUVAC Rescue can be used wherever a suction pump is called for – on site with an integrated battery pack or in rescue vehicles via the wall mounting 12-V charger.

Direct selection of suction level with touch of a key Energy-saving stand-by mode automatically turns off the pump when the pre-set vacuum has been reached. If the vacuum changes, the pump automatically starts again in order to return to the pre-set vacuum level.

It can be operated freely at temperatures from -18 to +40 ° C. It has ergonomic design, vacuum regulator, built-in voltmeter. It is rugged and easy to clean. It can be mounted on a wall (for example, a car) and a recharger is built into the mount.

The serial delivery kit ACCUVAC Rescue (WM 10600) has in its composition:

  • suction unit (WM 10610);
  • connecting cable (WM 10650);
  • bacterial filter (WM WM 10675).

Features and Benefits:

  • Battery type /capacity: nickel-cadmium, built-in / 2.8 Ah;
  • Power supply: 12 V, 3.7 A;
  • Capacity for a fluids: 900ml;
  • Maximum vacuum at 12 V: 0.8 bar (80 kPa);
  • Suction capacity at 12 V and free flow: »20 l / min;
  • Operating temperature: -18 ° C to +40 ° C;
  • Weight: ≈5,1 kg;
  • Dimensions: 370 x 280 x 140 mm.

ACCUVAC Rescue:

  • it can eliminate airway obstruction and, thus, the risk of cessation of breathing;
  • reduces energy consumption due to reduced productivity at the achieved vacuum;
  • driven by choice from the built-in rechargeable battery;
  • can also operate from external DC source of 12 - 13.8V, from onboard vehicle network 12 V (when using a connecting cable), through the charging and mains supply;
  • suitable also for use in hospital wards;

The diaphragm pump with the electric drive creates the vacuum for sucking. The vacuum regulator 2 can be used to set the required vacuum in the range from -0.05 bar to 0.8 bar. The membrane keyboard 4 has a backlight, which allows you to monitor the operating state of the instrument even in the dark. The pump switches to standby mode when the specified vacuum is reached. The pump is restarted to create a predetermined vacuum again in the event of a vacuum change. The suction material flows through the suction tube 27 into the collecting beaker. The reusable collecting cup 6 is fixed to the side of the motor block and mounted directly to the vacuum tube 13 of the motor unit 7. As a result, the intermediate tube is not required. A removable hydrophobic filter 20 in the lid for secretion 23 prevents the penetration of bacteria and liquid droplets into the motor unit. The bacterial filter can be reused and sterilized. The battery is automatically charged when the unit is turned off and connected to an external power source.
