Water treatment

Water treatment - treatment of water from a natural water source. It may be produced in water treatment plants for the needs of utilities, virtually all sectors of the industry (e.g. heat-generating companies).

Water is released from the suspended and colloidal impurities and salts, thereby prevents the formation of scale, vapor, corrosion of metals, as well as contamination of the processed materials by using water in industrial processes.

Types of water treatment by filter unit:

- Cleaning of sewage sludge;

- Cleaning of drinking water;

- Industrial water treatment;

- Purification of water in swimming pools.

 
Water treatment by filter unit includes the following processing methods:

- Cleaning of the water by coagulation, sedimentation and filtration of colloidal pollution;

- Softening (precipitation of calcium and magnesium, lime and soda);

- Desalination and desiliconization (ion exchange or distillation in evaporators);

- Removing dissolved gases (thermally or chemically), and iron oxides and copper (filtration).
- Biological purification of water from bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms. At the moment it is mostly used chlorine, ozone and UV sterilization.

- Improvement the organoleptic properties of water (remove water from substances causing odor (hydrogen sulfide, chlorine), and a number of organic substances).

The water supply system with filter unit is required for each building. Proper wiring of plumbing provides a reliable water supply and avoids additional costs in the future. Types of tubes: plastic, polypropylene, copper pipes.

Composition pipe - a robust, flexible, corrosion, universal. A feature of such a tube is that during installation it must be laid with a margin. The most popular are polypropylene pipes. Such tubes have high heat resistance, low weight and non-corrosive. Moreover, such tubes are very resistant to the thawing (i.e., if the cold water - pipe bursts, and after thawing adopt its original shape). Another advantage - low value of pipes and fittings, as compared with plastic pipes. Copper pipes are considered the most reliable and durable. Copper as a material not subject to corrosion, has antibacterial properties and is highly malleable. Besides copper pipes withstand high temperature fluctuations from -100 to + 250 ° C. Main drawback of such pipes is exposure to the adverse effects of water with high content of certain chemical elements, large impurities, which are much wear out of the pipe and reduce its service life.
