Spencer SX is a pickup stretcher with two blades for lifting and loading of patients on immobilising or transport devices such spinal boards, vacuum mattresses or transport stretchers.
Thanks to the pick up action carried out by two longitudinal edges it is possible to position the stretcher below the patient without having to move him/her. The pick up stretcher can be used to lift, transfer or transport the majority of patients. Special attention has been given to the choice and definition of the material used in construction, which have to respond to certain needs: lightness, mechanical resistance, trustworthiness and durability. The silhouette of the pick up stretcher has been studied to improve the insertion below the patient's body and at the same time stabilise when transferring or transporting. It is supplied with three fixation belts with quick release buckle.
The Spencer basket stretcher Shell, has been studied to confront the most difficult of emergency situations. It is ideal for rescue operations in mines, at altitude and in water. Thanks to its robust form, resistance and flexibility of use, it is indispensable anytime that a reliable and safe stretcher is needed. A revolutionary technique has been used in its realization which ensures uniform thickness of the entire length of the stretcher. The shell is in high-density polyethylene and is joined to an aluminium framework that aims to consolidate its strength.
The handles for transport, which are part of the structure itself, are placed along the entire perimeter. The grommets for the fixing of the spring catches of the harnessing are in stainless steel. Inside the shell there is a removable mattress, applied with self-adherent strips, made in closedcell EPDM, which makes it impermeable to both blood and water. The use of high-density polyethylene for this shell guarantees not only that it is shatterproof but also an exceptional sanitization. The Spencer Shell can hold a spine board.
Comes with:The use of high density polyethylene moulded with this technology, gives a consistency to the thickness that is much higher than that achieved with other forms of moulding; the advantages are evident in the corners, curves and on the base, exactly where the other bodies prove to be more fragile. The body is resistant to damage and corrosion and has been joined to an aluminium framework to guarantee a demanding use and safe transportability when hoisted. The tapered form allows it to take all the Spencer spine boards, thus avoiding any annoying movements of the board itself. The moulding technology used for this shell offers consistency and uniformity of thickness, the resistance to damage and corrosion much higher than that attained with other forms of moulding, especially in the areas where the other systems are more usually more fragile and delicate (corners, tapering). The design favours the functionality and leaves space to position the Spencer Rock or B-bak spine boards.
Twin Shell presents the same characteristics as the Shell stretcher with the only difference that it can be transversally divided in half to improve the storage and transport. To ensure a perfect hold between the two shells, four nylon cones and a security system protected by a protuberance placed in the mould itself, have been inserted.
Twin Shell is basket stretcher designed for the rescue and transport of patients. It can be used in all rescue operations in which it is impossible to intervene with the standard transport methods and where the patient needs protection from possible side impact. Spencer Twin Shell can be hoisted with lifting devices fixed to the ground, maintaining in all cases the stretcher in horizontal position to the ground, only if equipped with a Spencer lifting system. It is not designed for any intervention on behalf of the patient.

Dakota was conceived for use in confined spaces and is characterized by its robust and essential framework. Made with tubes of carbon steel, welded and then galvanized to render it resistant to the most adverse of climatic conditions.
The sides are protected by a metal skeleton to avoid the use of metallic nets which can be annoying for the patient and not particularly safe. Several anchorage points have been placed around the upper perimeter for the spring catches, for both vertical lifting and towing. The surface is of indestructible marine multi-layered varnished wood; the adoption of wood increases the isolation and comfort of the patient. Available in two widths to optimize the choice, depending on which use it is required for. Comes equipped with three polypropylene 50 mm belts with quick-release buckles. It is available in both the Light and Twin versions.

The bags are made out of SPEN-TEX and equipped with useful pockets for various accessories required as supports of rescue activities. Easy to apply. A must for water rescue and to assure patients in a vertical position. Made of high density polyethylene, covered in SPEN-TEX or strong vinyl coated nylon material. The belts used for the fastening to the basket are made of non-rotting polypropylene attached with treble seaming to the material of the cover. The locking system and buckles are made of nylon 6 that guarantees performance and durability, even in extreme weather and environmental conditions. Some floatation systems are characterized by a reflective band that improves safety and eases locating in conditions of low visibility.
