Flowmeters

Flowmeters

Flowmeters - a set of accessories for medical gases.

History of flowmeters begins since 1797, when the Italian scientist Giovanni Battista Venturi published his work in the field of hydraulics: the study of the flow of water through a short cylindrical and divergent nozzle. In 1887, the American scientist K. Herschel proposed water meter, named after the venturi.

Ultrasonic flowmeter modification was invented by YuryAlexandrovichKoval, lecturer at the Department of Radio Engineering bases of Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics. The patent for the turbine flowmeter was issued in 1970, the Research Institute of thermal power Instrumentation USSR.

WestMedGroup products covers the entire spectrum of devices for intensive care, in particular, all-type flowmeters for medical needs.

Flowmeters - technical devices designed to measure the mass or volume flow.

The most common classification based on the physical principles of measurement:

1. Flow variable differential pressure

2. Inertial effect

3. Tachymeter

4 .Electromagnetic consumption

5. Ultrasonic effect

6. Calorimeter

7. Optical effect
