WestMedGroup announced the start of sales of the robotic surgical system Senhance
A remote-controlled digital system designed to perform laparoscopy in surgery, gynecology, urology, pediatrics and thoracic surgery. It has already received permission for sales in Russia from Roszdravnadzor.

This is the first and only robotic system that combines augmented vision, control by an eye tracking camera and tactile feedback, which allows you to determine the force of palpation and suturing. It also has an alert when the surgeon reaches the threshold pressure on the tissue.

One of the key features of Senhance is the ability to control all movements of the robot using joysticks, which ensures high precision of operations, especially in cases where complex manipulations are required.

Surgical Needle Holder for Senhance Robotic Surgical System
This is the world's first system that allows surgeons to perform operations using a robot, while maintaining full control over the process. The system is equipped with more than 70 types of instruments, which allows it to be successfully used in more than 80 different types of surgical procedures, including microsurgeries in pediatrics. Compatibility with standard laparoscopic trocars allows the use of robotic and traditional laparoscopic instruments, with the ability to perform surgical manipulations with fast and precise tissue dissection and vessel sealing, and a quick change of instruments is possible in less than 2 minutes.

A wide range of reusable instruments and a minimum number of consumables form a low cost of the operation, and operating costs are comparable to the costs of maintaining traditional laparoscopic equipment.

The use of robotic surgical systems in surgery opens up new opportunities for Russian doctors and patients, as it reduces the risk of complications and speeds up the recovery process after surgery, which will qualitatively improve the level of medical care for the population.
