WestMedGroup, a leading Russian manufacturer of medical equipment, has announced the donation of eight advanced CADUCEUS surgical lights to the G.A. Ilizarov Center. These high-tech solutions are designed for precision surgical interventions.
The systems are equipped with LED lamps, an adaptive mechanical system for adjusting the dome position, and an intuitive lighting control interface. This allows surgeons to quickly adjust the diameter, intensity, focus, and color temperature of the surgical field, as well as manage the "endo" modes required for specific types of procedures. Thanks to this technology, CADUCEUS lights deliver exceptional illumination during complex operations, including orthopedic and reconstructive surgeries, deformity correction, and limb lengthening—key focus areas of the Ilizarov Center.
"The Ilizarov Center is not just a clinic; it is a world leader in orthopedics and reconstructive surgery. We are proud to support their outstanding mission by providing equipment that directly impacts the quality and safety of surgical procedures," stated the company’s management.
The Ilizarov Center treats over 22,000 patients with orthopedic and neuro-orthopedic conditions annually. The new surgical lights will enhance the precision of interventions, reduce operation times, and improve patient outcomes, particularly in complex cases where even the slightest misstep can have critical consequences.
