The medical compressor station provides a stable and uninterrupted supply of compressed air of the desired pressure and high purity, which does not contain bacterial impurities and other contaminants. One of main requirements for compressor stations for any medical institution, is the high quality of the air. WestMedGroup offers a wide range of modern screw compressors HOSPITAIR G (manufactured by MIL’S, France) to solve the problem of supplying hospitals with clean compressed air,

A system of 2 or 3 compressors, corresponding adsorption dryers, air receivers, final filtering and reduction units, is designed in such a way that it ensures a stable continuous supply of compressed air even during maintenance and repair. In addition, the system is completely autonomous and is automatically monitored round-the-clock, due to which the control unit ensures even distribution of the load between the compressors, which, in turn, reduces the total energy loss.

The adsorption dryer allows you to get compressed air of the 1st purity class for three main types of pollution in accordance with GOST R ISO 8573-1-2016 (for particles, moisture, total oil content). The minimum humidity level of the purified compressed air corresponds to a dew point of -70°C.

HOSPITAIR G compressor stations can be manufactured in special containers equipped with lighting, heating and air conditioning systems for the convenience of placing the compressor outside of the building,.

Air treatment systems are used for the production of medical air.

The air treatment systems of WestMedGroup fully comply with the requirements for the quality of medical and atmospheric air for respiration (on biosafety level) of the Russian GOST R ISO 7396-1-2011, the European Pharmacopoeia NF EN ISO 7396-1 and HTM BS:

  • oxygen concentration ≥ 20.4% (of volume) and ≤ 21.4% (of volume)
  • oil concentration ≤ 0.1 mg / m³ measured at atmospheric pressure
  • concentration of carbon monoxide ≤ 5 ml/m³
  • concentration of carbon dioxide ≤ 500 ml/m³
  • concentration of water vapor ≤ 67 ml/m³
  • concentration of sulfur dioxide ≤ 1 ml/m³

It is used to smooth the pulsation of pressure in the pipeline of compressed air.

Vertical execution allows to save the useful area in the room.

The receiver is mounted between the compressor station and the pipeline.

Pressure reduction and terminal filtration devices are used for connecting to the hospital network.

Several models of receivers are available ranging from 200 liters to 900 liters and designed for pressures from 11 to 15 bar.

Automatic electronic drainage can be installed on the receiver.

Pressure reduction and final filtration systems

Its are used to reduce the pressure produced by the compressor station  up to 4.5 bar and final filtration of air before delivery to consumers.

Variants of execution:

  • Simple, in which one line of the reducer and filter is used.
  • Double, in which two parallel lines of reduction and filtration are used, allowing to change the filter cartridge without stopping the supply of compressed air.

The non-return valve serves to prevent the reverse air flow when the station is disconnected. A safety valve is integrated in the reducer, which operates when the pressure exceeds the permissible value.

OWAMAT condensate reclaimers are used in oil-lubricated compressors and oxygen generators to separate oil and other petroleum products from condensate.

An oily waste can not be discharged into the sewage system, according to the current legislation of the Russian Federation. The efficient operation of the OWAMAT water-oil separator eliminates the ingress of oil into the sewage system.

The OWAMAT condensate separator can be additionally equipped with an optical control system for the purity of the drained water.

  • several models with compressor capacity from 1.7 m³ / min to 45.0 m³ / min;
  • pressure from 7.5 to 15 bar;
  • low operating costs;
  • does not require power supply.

MILLENIUM control system

MILLENIUM control system

MILLENIUM 3 is an automated controller, in which a control program is implemented ensuring the correct operation of vacuum units or compressor stations for medical and industrial applications.

Control of 2 or 3 pump or compressor motors is possible in two modes:

  • "ON / OFF" mode: turns the motor on and off at the set values, received from a pressure or vacuum sensor. This mode is recommended for low consumption and rare motor starts.
  • "FLEXO" mode: turns on the motor, but turns it off only when the set time is reached, regardless of the set values. The mode is recommended at a high flow rate to avoid frequent motor start-up / shutdowns.

Functional features:

  • easy-to-manage system;
  • switching on / off according to preset pressure levels;
  • ensuring the order of the motors;
  • motor running time counter;
  • possibility of manual switching on of pumps.

CYCLIC 2020 is a device designed by MIL'S to control functions in medical and industrial installations that create vacuum or compressed air using one, two or three motors.

On the digital display and LED indicators are displayed:

  • regulation mode;
  • operating pressure;
  • pressure in the network;
  • hygrometric temperature or room temperature;
  • motor running time counter;
  • regulation mode;
  • indication of engine malfunctions, hygrometry, low oil level, exceeding the recommended temperature, high pressure.

Control system PROCOM 2  is used in compressor stations, vacuum plants and oxygen generators.

The modern technological color touch screen PROCOM 2 visualizes the processes occurring in the installations and simplifies the interaction between personnel and equipment.

PROCOM 2 is ideal for controlling vacuum installations, compressor stations and oxygen generators equipped with 1 to 6 EVISA pumps (lubricated blades), SIRELLA (oil-free rotor-tooth gears), 1 to 4 screw, piston or scroll compressors.
