The head of the Dubna city administration visited the production facility of the WestMedGroup company

Last week, the head of the Dubna city district, Maxim Andreevich Tikhomirov, visited the research and production site of the WestMedGroup company, located on the territory of the Dubna special economic zone, where he talked with the management and employees of the enterprise.

The WestMedGroup company develops innovative medical equipment, the production of which is completely localized, in pursuance of Presidential Decrees and Government resolutions on import substitution.

During the visit, issues of the development of the enterprise and its role in providing healthcare to the city and region with high-quality medical products, and plans to expand production were discussed.

The company produces equipment that is supplied to healthcare institutions throughout Russia: unique multifunctional life support systems - wall and ceiling medical consoles, as well as a wide range of components and consumables; sources of medical gas - oxygen generators, vacuum and compressor stations; medical lighting systems; optical systems for ophthalmology, gynecological departments and laboratories; patient monitors, mobile oxygen support equipment and others.

During the visit, the head of the Dubna city district got acquainted with the stages of the production: from procurement and machining to painting and assembly. Maxim Andreevich Tikhomirov noted the technological readiness of the enterprise, its equipment with high-precision multifunctional metal processing complexes and the high level of organization.

The topic of building the company’s own research and production complex, which will expand the company’s capabilities and increase production capacity, has not gone unnoticed.

The meeting of the delegation of the head of the Dubna city district with employees of the WestMedGroup company ended with the presentation of certificates of honor to the team and management of the company and gratitude for their active participation in the life of the city and their enormous contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Maxim Andreevich Tikhomirov noted the importance of supporting such enterprises for the development of healthcare and the economy of the region. In turn, the management of WestMedGroup expressed its readiness to continue investing in the development of production and expansion of the product range.
