Healthcare Week has become the largest professional event among manufacturers of medical equipment, bringing together more than 1,000 companies from different countries: Russia, Germany, Belarus, Italy, China, the Czech Republic and many others on an area of 50,000 m2.
One of the largest expositions was the exhibition stand of WestMedGroup Ltd, a resident of the Dubna Special Economic Zone and one of the leaders of high-tech production of medical equipment under the CADUCEUS brand. Wall and ceiling medical consoles, as well as a wide range of accessories for them, group valves, devices for controlling, monitoring and dispatching the pressure of medical gases, gas sources itself, accessories for ventilators and respiratory support, as well as an updated range of premium cryogenic and industrial pipeline fittings were presented on an area of over 140 sq.meters.
The line of new products for respiratory support of patients, which is very important during the COVID-19 pandemic, aroused the greatest interest among industry specialists. Pecular attention was drawn to the CADUCEUS oxygen inhaler, presented in various versions. This mobile system can be used both at home and in medical institutions, which is especially important for people whose respiratory function was depressed due to a coronavirus infection. And emergency response and ambulance workers were more interested in the ventilator connection kit, since this functional system can be used in conditions where it is not possible to connect the patient to a centralized medical gas supply system, for example, during emergencies and transportation.
The exposition also featured a wide range of components for medical consoles: oxygen humidifiers and flow meters, vacuum regulators, oxygen-air mixture mixers, containers for aspirated liquid, and much more. Thus, one of the latest developments that WestMedGroup Ltd. demonstrated as part of its exposition, an oxygen humidifier with a heating function, aroused great interest among the public. It is maintaining the optimal balance of humidity and temperature during oxygen therapy.
Visitors of WestMedGroup stand took an interest in products announced to be put into mass production at the next year - an oxygen gasifier dispatching device that allows you to remotely monitor pressure drops in an oxygen gasification station, monitoring and control remote pressure gauges on control and locking devices.
It should be noted separately that the CADUCEUS control and shut-off devices presented at our stand, like other exhibition goods, were connected to a single loop og gas supply system specially mounted at the exhibition stand. In thise system gas was supplied through a pipeline from sources to terminal devices.
Representatives of the company introduced healthcare specialists to the latest premium-class cryogenic and industrial pipeline fittings. They are used at unique and critical facilities, as well as for the possibility of supply of cold cryogenic gasifiers to provide oxygen to large healthcare facilities. For small medical institutions or where a large consumption of medical gases is not expected, the WestMedGroup company has developed an automatic bypass balloon manifold CADUCEUS, which allows to switch consumption to another group of cylinders and send a signal to the alarm panel about the need to replace the cylinders. CADUCEUS oxygen ramps can be used for both medical and technical oxygen.
Many visitors were interested in comprehensive provision of healthcare facilities from design, selection and installation of equipment, of engineering networks to commissioning and maintenance of equipment. The opportunity to get this gave a start to business communication and new cooperation.
CADUCEUS products aroused serious interest among the visitors of the Russian Health Week and at the moment WestMedGroup Ltd. has already received several large orders from regional medical institutions and continues to negotiate for the provision of domestic medical equipment not only to hospitals in Russia, but also to a number of other countries such as Belarus, Kazakhstan and Iran.
